Firstly, screw the rivet nut into the threaded mandrel and apply it to the specified guarantee load, and keep it for 15s. The rivet nut shall not trip or break. When the load is removed, the rivet nut can be screwed out by hand, or the rivet nut can be screwed out by hand after light. During the test, the moving speed of the chuck shall not exceed 3mm/min. During the test, if the threaded mandrel is damaged, the test will be scrapped. The hardness of threaded mandrel shall be ≥ 45HRC. The thread tolerance is 5h6g, but the major diameter should be controlled within a quarter of the lower limit of the 6g tolerance zone.

Secondly, screw the rivet nut into the threaded mandrel and apply load until it breaks. The break should not occur at the junction of the head and the cylinder; The load value shall comply with the provisions in Table 1. During the experiment, the moving speed of the chuck shall not exceed 3mm/min. During the test, if the threaded mandrel is damaged, the test is invalid.

Step 4 Rivet the rivet nut on the riveting plate, and screw in the test bolt without any lubrication. Apply torque until the rivet nut breaks or the thread trips. The torque measuring error of the torque testing machine or tool used in the test shall not be greater than 2% of the large rated torque. The thickness and hole of riveting plate shall be in accordance with the provisions of the large riveting thickness h and d0 or s0 recommended in the product standard.

Finally, rivet the rivet nut on the riveting plate, and screw in the test bolt without any lubrication. Apply torque until there is relative rotation between the rivet nut and the riveting plate. The torque measuring error of the torque testing machine or tool used in the test shall not be greater than that specified in the large limit h and d0. The hardness shall be ≥ 45HRC. GB/T5782 grade 8.8 hexagon head bolts shall be used as test China Flange Bolts.
